When you live and work in the happiest emergency room in the world it is either Thanksgiving or Christmas, or more likely both, every day.  So many gifts and so much to be thankful for every day. Lots of hard work to be certain but that is what it is all about because our parents, our children and our staff are all in, all the time.

It turns out that human beings do best when they have a big mountain to climb every day and they are shoulder to shoulder with their family – right there to climb with them.

We are the luckiest people in the world.

We hope wherever you are right now, whatever you are doing, whatever holiday you are celebrating that you have great reasons to be thankful and to give whatever you have got to give to help others.

If so, I am guessing that you too are one of the luckiest people in the world.

All in, all the time. That’s what it is all about.
